Sponsor a Tamerlaine Turkey

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, we are happy to offer our third annual “Sponsor a Tamerlaine Turkey!” This is your chance to help us care for Tamerlaine's seven turkey ambassadors, all who were previously destined to become someone’s Thanksgiving dinner. Not only can you sponsor a Turkey, but you can support their move to our new 336 acre farm.

Create a new tradition for your family this year and sponsor one or all of our seven wonderful turkey ambassadors. Meet the Tamerlaine Turkeys below! What an incredible gift of compassion to give a loved one or yourself this holiday season. For a $35 a month sponsorship or a gift of $200 or more you will receive:

  • A beautiful personalized greeting card with a picture of your turkey ambassador.

  • A sponsorship certificate with your turkey’s name and story.

  • Updates on your turkey friend.

  • Free admission to come visit your turkey during visiting hours at Tamerlaine Farm Sanctuary all year round.

The upcoming year is extra special: we are building beautiful aviaries at the new 336-acre Tamerlaine Sanctuary for all of our turkey residents! There is much to do to give them the best home ever. Our turkeys will have more room to roam and explore and express their individual nature. We are so excited to share this next phase of our growth and look forward to hosting you soon. Do come visit our Turkeys and their over 200 friends at Tamerlaine Farm Animal Sanctuary this holiday season!

You can now also donate directly with your PayPal account!

In 2015, Tamerlaine Farm Animal Sanctuary took in six young turkey babies who were rescued from the factory farm system. We were so happy to have our first turkeys on the farm and marveled at their unique and individual personalities. In 2016 Tamerlaine became the forever home of another beautiful turkey lady after she managed to rescue herself from a transport truck going to one of the many live kill markets in Brooklyn, NY. Now all seven turkey ambassadors will live out the rest of their days at Tamerlaine and will only know love and respect for the rest of their lives. The best way to help turkeys is to make the choice not to eat them (and other animals) on Thanksgiving and year-round.
